Baker Barnett's Managing Director Neil S. Baker is a Chartered Minerals
Surveyor who has had a wide range of experience in the mining and energy
sectors. Since 1994 Baker Barnett has been heavily involved in the design
and procurement of Green Energy Parks, throughout the Country, for client's
who generate electricity from coal mine methane and other 'green energy
fuels'.
We have been involved with projects in Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, South
Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Wales, Lancashire and the North East of England.
A recent project has been to generate electricity using mine gas from a
borehole drilled within the grounds of Kings Mill Hospital, Near
Sutton-in-Ashfield for our client Alkane Energy UK Limited. That
project was successfully completed in September 2010.
