An Expert Witness Report is a report that can be used in possible legal proceedings, for cases such as unsatisfactory building works and encroachment on to privately owned land by others.  Baker Barnett can provide an Expert Surveyor to inspect the works and give a report.  The Expert Surveyor’s over-riding duty when carrying out this type of report is to the Court or Judicial Body to which the evidence is to be referred, ensuring that the Expert Surveyor is impartial.  The Expert Surveyor would be governed by rules and procedures of the RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) and the Court.
